Doctors McKenna and Gangoy dedicate much of their time to their professional and local organizations. They are members of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Association, and the East Middlesex District Dental Society. They are also members of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeast Society of Orthodontists, and the Tufts Association of Orthodontists. Both doctors remain well aware of the advances in their profession by participating in continuing education programs.

Doctors McKenna and Gangoy strongly believe in being involved with their community. They devote much of their time to educating children about dental health by speaking at local elementary schools, and actively support numerous school activities in the surrounding communities.

Dr. Christine E. McKenna
Originally from the Boston area, Dr. McKenna graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology. She received her Dental Degree with honors from Tufts University, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the international dental honor society. She then served as a general dentist in the United States Navy and earned two Navy Achievement Medals. While on active duty, Dr. McKenna returned to Tufts and received her Postgraduate Degree in Orthodontics, and also worked as a clinical instructor in oral diagnosis. She achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was last stationed in Naples, Italy during the Gulf War. Dr. McKenna has served as Chairman of the local dental society, and as a director of the Rotary Club of Wakefield, Mass. In her free time Dr. McKenna enjoys running, skiing, and scuba diving. Dr. McKenna lives in Lynnfield, Mass with her husband and three children.

Dr. Mary Angelic Gangoy
Dr. Gangoy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Albany and and was recognized with the university's Presidential Award. She went on to graduate Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and received her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. Upon completion of Dental School, Dr. Gangoy was immediately accepted into the Tufts University Orthodontic Residency Program and earned a Postdoctorate Degree in the specialty of Orthodontics. During her educational years at Tufts, she participated in the university's research program, and was affiliated with the Robert Andrews Honor Society, and was a member of the International Association of Dental Research. Dr. Gangoy was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, (international dental honor society) and during her orthodontic residency, was awarded the Furman-Rosenberg Scholarship. Dr Gangoy has served as a representative of her local dental society on the Council on Access Prevention & Interprofessional Relations. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Wakefield, Mass, and co-chaired the organization's 20th annual 6K road race. Dr. Gangoy resides with her husband in Andover, Mass., along with her two children.
